Court remands for alleged criminal charm on student

An Ilorin Magistrate Court has remanded one Abdulaziz Jamiu of Oke-Awo Compound, Okeya in Ifelodun Local Government in prison.

The suspect, Abdulaziz Jamiu was alleged of using charm in an attempt to have canal knowledge of a minor Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) student in one of the Tertiary Institutions in the state, the offense that is contrary to section Two-one-seven and Ninety-five of Penal Code Law.

It was reported that he allegedly charmed the student and commanded her to follow him to his office where he ordered her to go naked.

Also, the suspect was alleged to have scrapped her pubic hair with a razor blade with an attempt to use it for evil purpose and to lure her into having the canal knowledge of her.

While delivering his ruling on the allegation, Magistrate Shade Lawal ordered the suspect to be remanded in prison custody and also adjourned the matter to 30th March, 2017 for further hearing.
